Well Christmas is here, everything is all ready. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I'm off to Penzance for New Year so should have some new pics when I get back.

Been busy so not really had time to keep site updated. Black wheels arrived and were spot on as described by the ebay seller, had them fitted that day and am very pleased with them. Put new tank protector on last weekend, but haven't done hugger (instructions mention unscrewing brake torque arm - scares me), crash bungs (instructions mention making holes in fairing - very scary - need some help from someone with the right tools and a steady hand!), or bar ends - can't find allan key to fit! Mirrors arrived but were less pleasing than the wheels and will need complete re-spray and some filler here and there. Still no sign of assessor!

Still keeping an eye on things from behind the scenes, not a lot interesting happening to report. NEC Bike Show was good fun. Bought some crash bungs (I know, I know - should have got them earlier!), bar ends, sticky tank protector, ordered a hugger. Have picked up a set off mirrors and a pair of black wheels from ebay so will have some new pics of the Zed once he's been tarted up. I'm expecting the insurance assessor soon so I can get on with repairs at last.

OK, well as everyone said, your own web-site soon becomes something you forget to update! While that's not quite true as I have been here behind the scenes updating and changing the pics page etc, it is certainly partially correct.

Still no news from the insurance front, so bike still wearing battle scars. Am keeping an eye on parts on ebay - just in case. Have found a pair of black wheels too which I would like to win as I like the look of them.

Have been trying to help out with the Diesel spills campaign, TRUCKS - The Road Users Campaign to Kill diesel Spills, have a look www.killspills.org.uk and help us if you can.

Thanks to redmonkey, have achieved fully adjustable controls on my bit of wizardry. Chat client works and has been tested. Now thinking about content and where to go with it all.

Am getting on making changes adding bits n bobs - still trying to come up with some sensible idea of what exactly I am try to achieve here. But hey - least it's working!!

After much growling, re-doing and submitting of queries etc (only to be told it worked for them) turns out I was doing it all wrong!! So thanks to Simon who pointed out if I had only read the instructions first..... yes yes well all those who know me will know that I don't have the patience for instructions!! But it all seems to work now, so I can get on with adding more content!

OK seem to be having problems with Guest Log and Hit Counter. Have removed hit counter for now as it was annoying me to see little box with no info. Having been playing with some JavaScript I picked up off a web dev site. Will do some more looking for interesting items. Will also submit query to web host to see why FrontPage extns items still won't work.

I have just created my domain and web-space....

Most of you will already know me as not many people know about this site. I have not yet decided what exactly I shall use it for so am not sure what to put here.

Many of you will know me only as Girlie_Biker and will have met me through the MCN Ninjas forum or perhaps a chatroom. You will probably know that I am 29, and live in S/E London and that I ride a Kawasaki ZZR600 which is my pride and joy.

He's a little scarred just now, my Zed following our recent mishap, 1st October 2003 when we were forced into an emergency stop which became an almighty stoppie and threw me off causing an enormous amount of damage to the RH side. Click here to see.

Thanks to the help of MK Ninja (whom I met through MCN Ninjas) I was soon back on the road. I can't thank Steve enough for his very kind and much needed assistance.
