    My GPZ breaking:

    1994 D1 GPZ500s M272 AGN

IMPORTANT - I am not a breaker I just took my old bike to bits. If you're not sure about a part please send me a picture of exactly what you want. It's useless quoting part numbers at me as I won't know what they mean!

The following items are useless or have already been utilised, please don't ask me for them

Shock (already on my other bike)

complete head (on my other bike)

    RH Passenger footpeg (useless, binned)

Ignition barrel (loose wiring at rear, lost its bottom cover)

Ignition Switchgear (gone to my old ZZR)

Parts I am keeping for myself (so it would have to be worth my while to part with them!)

    clutch cable

    speedo cable

    CDI unit

    starter motor

    clutch plates/springs

    front sprocket keeper and bolts

    mudguard

    forks

The following needs to be known about these parts

Downpipes/exhaust - this is complete unit from an ER5, the downpipes are in good nick (a little surface rust but nothing bad) BUT the end can is a bit of a mess as you can see in the pics. The fix you can see has passed two MOTS but the jubilee clips need replacing from time to time. Best bet would be to cut the can off and weld another on. THIS PART IS FREE TO COLLECT.

Seat - tiny tear on RH rear just where seat meets bike, nothing to worry about but long term should be patched to prevent damp getting in.

Radiator grill, this was held on by cable ties as both bolts had sheared and are still stuck there

Bodywork (best descriptions I can give)

Nosecone - in very good nick, tiny crack near RH mirror, however when I got this nosecone I fiberglassed the back of the crack and marked the front lightly to see if the crack worsened. It didn't. The fibreglass on the back means its tight to fit the mirror but it does all go together as you can see.

Tank is pretty good, some marks and small dings but nothing major.

Rear grab rail, fairly scratched and is more pink than red now.

    rear panels

RH is fair with no major concerns, paint is faded a bit and there are marks from cargo nets etc

LH side is worse with at least one major crack although I have fibre glassed this on the rear and it has kept it solid.

Rear centre piece, this is worst with one lug def gone and one broke off whilst removing it (but I have it to stick back on) at least oe other was previously broken but I fixed it back on.

Screen, fairly old and abused by the sun, one corner lug broken but its still there so maybe fixable, but still useable regardless as you can see below.
