I know, I know, I'm terrible. Lazy that's what it is. Although sometimes I think no one is bothered if I post or not anyway... spamafote.gif

Am whacked at the mo, went to the GP at the weekend, talk about wet! Not for us however, a friend of ours won two VIP tickets in a competition, but he was booked to go to France. Rather than waste them he sent them our way so we couldn't really say no! We went up Saturday night to Weedon (J16 M1) where we stayed over and whizzed up the rest of the way first thing Sunday to arrive at Donington for 8 o'clock.

As it was bound to be a wet weekend Michael took the GPZ - the ZX10 isn't waterproof Confused2.gif

Well worth the trek even though most of the races were wet ones. It was still raining when we left, however it did stop about half an hour after we hit the M1, so gloves were the only thing that got soaked really. Decided at the last minute to wear my new boots and they did prove fully waterproof.

Not sure what else has gone on lately... I do know I need to get on an do the oil change on the GPZ and do the rear pads on the ZZR.... no rest for the wicked!

Been out most of the day on the Firestorm with Mikey. Mikey had the first service yesterday on the ZX10 so was understandably itching to get out there and ride it without quite so many rules now that it is mostly run in. I've only managed to put 420 miles on it so far, but the weather has been against me, dull and drizzly for much of the week.

Have put some details about it up under my Bikes section and will get some more pics up shortly.

Time flies when you're having fun so they say! Indeed it does. I've been getting acquainted with the latest member of our garage and what a different ride. I need to get used to the new position as I'm sitting a little stiffly just now which is giving my muscles  more grief than necessary. The tank range is a little limiting, the fuel light came on again today as I arrived home, dead on 89 miles. It's like anything though, once you get used to it it's the norm.

Mikey has been away all week, somewhere in the Red Sea, he gets back tomorrow night, so I guess I'd better wheel the 10R out to greet him!
