Bloomin' heck! Has that much time really passed? I guess so...
Well lets see, its Round 1 of this years BSB, so off to Brands tomorrow, Michael was down for the practice session today. Not sure which team I'll be following this year, Vivaldi have changed to Suzuki bikes, Tristan has gone to Buildbase, Aaron as yet is without a sponsor. Ollie looks to be settling in well at the higher level though and I'm sure Tommy will do well in the Metzler Championship.
I was out on Sunday with Panos, my RoSPA instructor for a quick refresh to make sure that I wasn't slipping up at all, and thankfully it would seem not. We covered about 170 miles or so all of the tightest twistiest variety, the very kind I would have steered well away from prior to my training. I had quite a blast, at times I felt like I was either a racer in training or at others very like a greyhound chasing the rabbit or in my case chasing the vision point round and round and round and never quite catching it. A wire fell off my rectifier resulting in a battery that wasn't charging but made it home and repaired it the following evening with no troubles.
Not been up to much of late what with it being cold and dull. Still thinking about my bikes and what to do I quite fancy the Ducati Monster 800 S2R but the price and the supposed extra maintenance required is a bit off-putting.
I've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes for my website, the fruits of which you will see soon. This site has grown a lot since I started it and navigation especially is currently not easy so look out for updates soon.
